Mercedes-Benz Concept EQA

The first thing you notice when looking at EQA is complete absence of sharp lines and edges. The exterior of the car is completely smooth with laser fibers as a lighting system, so the electric car looks like transport from a fantastic film. Specifications are also great: dual electric motors generate up to a collective 200 kW and 368 lb.-ft. of torque, battery offer up to 60 kW of maximum power, range measures up to 400 km. Four wheel drive guarantees excellent dynamics of the car, moreover driver can choose between Sport and Sport Plus driving programs to vary the torque distribution front to rear.

Specifications are impressive: 4MOTION all-wheel drive system uses two different electric motors for the front and rear sets of wheels, the total engine power is 306 hp, it has 83 kWh battery. The car has a top speed of about 180 kilometers per hour and a range of 500 kilometers. You can recharge the battery to 80 percent capacity in 30 minutes.

Audi Aicon

Audi Aicon reminds a bit of famous A8 and at the same time is a completely new phenomenon in the automotive industry.

A new car is equipped with suspension with pneumatic elements and electromechanical actuators as well as the rear wheel control system. However, the brakes are moved to the very center of the body to ensure a smooth ride on 26 inches wheels.

Apart from that, Audi Aicon is a real dream car. First, it’s size – it is even higher and wider than A8 at the same F-class, so it basically opens a new G-segment. The length of electric car is 5.5 meters, the wheelbase is 3470 mm, which is 240 mm longer than the A8 L. At the same time, the number of seats in the cabin is still 2 + 2, but with maximum comfort.

Another innovation – the actual absence of a driver. There is no usual steering wheel nor pedals in the Audi Aicon salon, but new car is equipped with a multimedia system. Aicon has a capacious trunk – 660 liters. The car has four electric motors with total output/torque of 354 hp. Moreover, new Audi has a record-breaking up to 800 kilometers range.

MINI Electric Concept

The manufacturer hasn’t still revealed technical details on new MINI Electric Concept. Now it is clear that the electric car inherited a hexagonal radiator grille and round head lamps from other MINI models. It has special LED head- and taillights and he doors are equipped with retractable handles.

Experts suggest that MINI Electric Concept can get BMW i3 engine and a range of about 305 km. According to MINI representatives, the electric car will soon appear in a serial sale in 2019.

Smart vision EQ fortwo

This year Smart presented, perhaps, the most incredible-looking concept of an electric car at the entire Frankfurt Motor Show. It looks similar Nissan Pivo. A new car has completely autonomous control, the ability to communicate with both passengers and pedestrians, as well as carsharing function.

A 105/40 cm screen provides communication with people, it welcomes the owner of the car when he comes and displays messages for pedestrians.

Little is known about specifications: the Smart vision EQ fortwo battery has a capacity of 30 kWh, despite the fact that it was only 17 kWh in the last Smart series electric car. This probably means that the battery of Smart electric cars is waiting for an upgrade in the near future.
