Daymak C5 Blast: world’s fastest electric race car

Daymak is developing world’s fastest electric car – C5 Blast.

It  won’t be a car in the truest sense of the word: the concept is still more like a cart, but manufacturers assert that it will be able get up speed to 60 miles per hour in 1.5 seconds. They will gain such incredible characteristics by combining 10 kW brushless electric motor and 12 turbines, four of which will be placed directly behind a driver. The remaining 8 will be underneath. Due to this fact, developers are going to decrease the cart weight on the go. It is the correlation of power and weight that will allow the car to gather speed to 60 miles per 1.5 seconds.

fastest electric race car is currently owned by Team Delft: it accelerates to 60 miles in 2 seconds.
