The expert will make a presentation: Possibilities for the development of micromobility: symbiosis of car sharing and scooter sharing.
He will explain the following:
- the concept of urban micromobility infrastructure;
- development prospects of such networks in regions;
- reasons for the popularity of micromobility and ways to earn on this aspect.
Samocat Sharing is a Russian company engaged in scooter leasing, which operates in Moscow, Berlin, Paris, Brussels, Helsinki, and several cities of Spain. It was one of the world’s first companies introducing a new type of compact city transport to the shared use culture.
In 2015, the company applied for the startup contest called GenerationS and occupied the second place among 2500 competitors, receiving the grant of 1.2 million RUB from GenerationS and 2 million RUB from the Innovation Promotion Fund upon the START program.
Currently, Samocat Sharing is sponsoring BMW, URBAN-X, and SOSV. Besides, the company is one of the residents of the Cluster of Energy Efficient Technologies at Skolkovo.
