How to accelerate to 100 km / h in 3 seconds

Today, young American company Tesla is considered to be the absolute leader of electric cars manufacturing market, having started the mass production of two popular electric cars: Tesla S sedan and Tesla X coupe.

The previous successful version was a 367hp Tesla Model S with max speed of 200 km/h, capable of gaining 100 km/h in 5.6s.

Nevertheless, manufacturer is not going to rest on his laurels, with new players on the horizon also joining the race -- namely, Mercedes-Benz and BMW. That’s why Tesla MOTORS is developing a third model, which is actually its name -- Tesla Model 3.

The company refuses to disclose detailed insights, but some sources on the web claim that a future electric car will have 700hp, reaching 100 km/h in 3.2s. And what’s even more intriguing is the fact that Chris Porritt will participate in the development process, having been previously working at Aston Martin, famous James Bond’s favorite supercars.

Unfortunately, Tesla Model 3 launch date is not yet definite, but presentation is scheduled for the next year.

And while we’re waiting for the new sedan, you can sit in the seat of Tesla S today, at Connected Car summit in ECC Sokolniki, where connected car experts will present latest telemetering and remote car control innovations.

Besides, on March 13, all summit participants will be given a free certificate for test drive of any electric car from ELEKTROMOBILI premium dealership.
