The first low-cost electrocar Model 3 to appear on July 7
Elon Musk has promised that a low-cost electrocar Model 3 will be ready by the end of this week and the first 30 customers will receive their orders as soon as July 28. The founder of the company has emphasized that the new model underwent all necessary tests and trials.
Starting on July 7, manufacturing of Model 3 will be growing in geometric progression: 100 electrocars will be released next month, 1 500 – in September and 20 000 – each month beginning with December.
It has been reported previously that Model 3 will be equipped with rare-wheel drive and cost $35 000. In half a year, an all-wheel drive with two electric motors will come on the market.
Tesla sales in Russia have increased by 25% in 5 months
According to “Autostat”, Tesla sales on the Russian market have grown by 25% since January. In 2016, 12 cars were bought during the same period. This year, 15 Tesla cars, including 11 Model X crossovers and 4 Model S sedans, were sold.
Analysts say that Russians who buy electrocars prefer Tesla models.
“Yandex” has signed a partnership agreement with Hearst Shkulev Media
“Yandex” has announced the partnership with Hearst Shkulev Media which will allow it to develop car classifieds. The search engine will pay the publishing house approximately 500 million RUB for data bases, 33 domains of regional portals where cars, trademarks and corresponding software for sale are advertised.
Thanks to the agreement, “Auto.ru” owned by “Yandex” will automatically copy news about automobile transport for purchase or sale published on regional websites. Besides, its authors will be able to use already existing accounts to edit the ads.
“Yandex” is planning to develop acquired resources. The director of Hearst Shkulev Digital Sergey Astapenko says that the deal isn’t just a buy/sell but more of an agreement about long-term and fruitful partnership.
