Christian Böttger, Director of Development at A+S TRANSPROJECT, to Talk About Use Cases of PTV Vissim in Trials of Autonomous and Connected Cars
The car industry is extensively applying simulation modeling technologies to test autonomous and connected vehicles in the virtual environment. One of such tools is PTV Vissim, a multimodal traffic flow simulator designed by Germany-based PTV Planung Transport Verkehr AG.
Christian Böttger, Director of Development at A+S TRANSPROJECT, will reveal more about PTV Vissim on May 23 at Connected Car Conference.
Speaker’s presentation: Use cases of PTV Vissim in the development and trials of autonomous and connected cars.
Christian Böttger is a certified trainer for PTV Vision Suite software product line. Besides, the expert is a co-author of guides and tutorials on traffic planning and modeling, the head of the workgroup on traffic modeling of the non-profit Association of Traffic Engineers (ATE), and a member of the German Road and Transportation Research Association (FGSV).
At the conference, the speaker will explain how A+S TRANSPROJECT applies PTV Vissim to develop and try self-driving and connected cars based on case studies.
