Connected car concept is at the top of IT-giants agendas

Leading software developers are ready to start developing their own applications and programs that can be used in connected cars.

For example, Oracle presented platform to develop applications for cars in JAVA. This solution is characterized by being universal and multi-platform, and it is possible that soon the majority of the software will be adapted to the car.

Qualcomm, one of the computer hardware market leaders, also presented its new development. Developers say that this platform is used in more than half of connected cars. Operating system provides vehicle with a secure wireless high-speed network that can transfer any data between devices, including games and HD-videos.

AT & T is engaged in active implementation of Digital Life concept that is expected to simplify everyday problems of the drivers. AT & T Drive shifts a routine on its shoulders, namely payment for toll roads usage, parking and ordering food.
