Hyundai Motor CIS together with JSC GLONASS have developed a roadside technical assistance service and will present it on November 21 at the Connected Car Summit.
Roadside Technical Assistance Service is a safe driving system, which will be equipped with all new Hyundai and Genesis cars. If the driver faces with unforeseen circumstances, due to which he cannot continue driving (tire puncture, malfunction of the door lock, lack of fuel), all he needs is to press the SOS button to contact the operator of the GAIS “ERA-GLONASS”.
User will receive detailed instructions depending on the situation, and appropriate assistance services will be sent as well. The geolocation of the car is transferred to the Internet provider Russian Automobile Fellowship (RAF).
“This project will increase the convenience of driving and safety of our customers. Roadside Technical Assistance Service will help drivers to maintain their mobility. We want our customers to be completely safe on the road and feel safe when driving,” said the executive director of Hyundai Motor CIS Alexey Kalitsev.
Roadside Technical Assistance Service will be available from November 1, 2017.
