Roadside Technical Assistance Service: joint project of Hyundai Motor CIS and JSC GLONASS

Hyundai Motor CIS together with JSC GLONASS have developed a roadside technical assistance service and will present it on November 21 at the Connected Car Summit.

Roadside Technical Assistance Service is a safe driving system, which will be equipped with all new Hyundai and Genesis cars. If the driver faces with unforeseen circumstances, due to which he cannot continue driving (tire puncture, malfunction of the door lock, lack of fuel), all he needs is to press the SOS button to contact the operator of the GAIS “ERA-GLONASS”.

User will receive detailed instructions depending on the situation, and appropriate assistance services will be sent as well. The geolocation of the car is transferred to the Internet provider Russian Automobile Fellowship (RAF).

“This project will increase the convenience of driving and safety of our customers. Roadside Technical Assistance Service will help drivers to maintain their mobility. We want our customers to be completely safe on the road and feel safe when driving,” said the executive director of Hyundai Motor CIS Alexey Kalitsev.

Roadside Technical Assistance Service will be available from November 1, 2017.

The representatives of GLONASS and RAF, Sergey Oksenyuk and Dmitry Blekher will tell more about the system.

Sergey Oksenyuk – Project Manager at JSC GLONASS.

Dmitry Blekher is the Head of IT and Cybersecurity Development at RAF.

The topic of their report is “From security to comfort: project of GLONASS JSC and RAF – Roadside technical assistance service”.

Connected Car Summit is the only forum in the CIS dedicated to innovative technologies in the automotive industry. The event will bring together unique speakers, those who prefer innovative thinking and deeds rather than words, creators of the new age and values.
