New Porsche electric car can be charged to 80% in 20 minutes

The American magazine Automobile has reported details on the characteristics of a new Porsche electric car, referring to insider sources. The Mission E electric car will be released in three trim levels: base, middle and luxury. Mission E sales are scheduled for 2019.

The base version will have 408 horsepower, and the mid-range car – 544, while the luxurious Mission E will pack up to 680 horsepower. All three models will have a four-wheel drive; the company will perhaps release rear-wheel drive versions with a capacity of 326 and 435 horsepower in the future.

The high-end vehicle will be able to reach a speed of 96 km/h in 3.5 seconds. And, perhaps, the main advantage of all Mission E models is the ability to charge up to 80% of the battery in just 20 minutes.

The base model of Porsche electric car will cost reportedly about $85 thousand.
