Participants of Panel Discussion on Legal Aspects of Automotive Digital Technologies
On May 23, Connected Car Conference will feature a panel discussion: Regulatory basis of digital tech aided transport. Regulatory framework for data exchange.
Its participants will talk about the regulation of big data obtained from vehicles; changes in the Civil Code aimed at data exchange regulation; the application of smart contracts, and other legal support issues for digital technologies in the transport system.
The discussion will involve the following experts:
- Antonina Levashenko: Chief of Center Russia-OECD under the Russian President. Member of the Russian Association of International Law. Specialist in international tax law, digital and crypto economy. Discussion moderator.
- Roman Yankovskiy: IP/IT adviser at Tomashevskaya & Partners. He is engaged in the law-making activity and educational projects; gives lectures on statutory regulation of venture investments and innovations at Moscow State University and Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. Besides, Roman is the author of the book about juridical aspects of technology-related business titled Startup Law, as well as guides for Moscow State University and paragraph-to-paragraph commentaries to the Civil Code of the Russian Federation.
- Ekaterina Larens: Senior Lawyer at Clifford Chance CIS Limited. Member of the Committee on legal support of digital economy at Moscow Branch of the Association of Lawyers of Russia. The expert participated in the roundtable at Kutafin Moscow State Law University (MSAL), the Committee on digital technology development in the context of the Russian legislation on personal data.
- Ivan Ermokhin: Expert at Russia-OECD Club in FTA. Member of the Expert Council under the Russian President, Expert Group of the Interdepartmental Working Group on Countering Illegal Financial Transactions. Specialist at Expert Groups on behalf of the Chairman of the Government, TWG 7 Fintech of the Competency Center for Statutory Regulation of the Digital Economy.
