Volkswagen presented the 5th generation Sharan minivan

Volkswagen has released the 5th update of Sharan minivan. The first orders will be available in mid-summer. Previous versions of the car are extremely popular in Europe, especially among families with children, therefore, developing a new generation of vehicle engineers were trying to adhere to chosen tradition.

Exterior of the car has not undergone any significant changes. Designers only refreshed minivan exterior by highlighting the features of the body and adding LED-backlight lamps. In addition, the car was decorated with new alloy wheels and two more body colors were added - blue and red. It feels like designers have been tasked to design new Sharan in such a way to match already finished Passat, Touareg and Jetta line, and they did a good job in this.

Interior also remain the same. They have added only a few pleasant things, namely: masseur in the front seats, improved ergonomics of driving wheel, and 5 or 6.5-inch touchscreen display that performs the functions of navigator. On-board computer of new Sharan supports applications from Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

For the convenience of driver and safety of his companions Volkswagen has built-in a full set of control programs: cruise control, emergency braking and blind spots monitoring systems. The main pleasant surprise to European families is efficient engine: petrol option with 1.4 liter (150 h.p.) and 2.0 liters (220 h.p.), and diesel - 115, 150 and 184 h.p.
